Used William Optics 90mm I.D. Tube Rings - SOLD -
William Optics 90 mm Mounting Ring SetThe William Optics felt-lined 90 mm Telescope Mounting Ring Set is perfect for the Megrez or 80 mm Zenithstar. It is supplied with five threaded holes (external imperial threading 1/4x20; internal M6 metric threading) for mounting on most dovetail plates and WO dovetail plates. The same hole pattern exists on top to fit additional accessories.
These solid aluminum rings are black anodized, and have large knobs that are easy to adjust in the dark. A worthwhile investment if you want the best out of your GEM or Alt-az mount. These solid rings will keep your telescope always in perfect alignment. A telescope is only as performing as the mount and rings it comes with: saving on rings is not always a wise choice!

Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Dumb question, but I gotta ask ... you say it'll fit 80mm scopes. I have a WO GTF81 ...will these rings work for it? Thanks.
William Optics says that this will work on the GTF81 as long as you remove the dovetail foot.
I want to mount my Meade #320 80mm refractor to an Orion dovetail, will this work for that purpose?
As long as the #320 80mm scope has a tube diameter of exactly 90mm, these rings should work. If the tube is a different diameter, you will need different rings.
Will these rings fit the ZS71 OTA(93mm dia.)?
These rings will not fit a telescope with a tube diameter of 93mm, only 90mm.
Will these 90mm rings fit the newer Explore Scientific ED80 APO model with the fixed foot (removed) and rotating focuser body?
Chip, It should work. We don't have a Explore 80 on he floor so I couldn't test it out but William Optics does say that the rings will fit most 800mm scopes.
