    Excellent telescope for the beginner!

Celestron has broken the budget barrier with the PowerSeeker 60 EQ Telescope. Featuring excellent optics and a lean and mean equatorial mount as well as basic tripod and lens set, the entire rig quickly and easily dissembles into 3 manageable pieces for storage and transport: telescope, equatorial mount, and tripod. I highly recommend this telescope for viewing the moon, planets, and sun (with optional solar filter, as well as terrestrial viewing.
