    Ask a Question
    • Would this mount be suffient to use as a grab'n'go with a skywatcher 127 Mak? For those nights when I want a quick view rather set up the heq5 pro?

This mount might work with a 90mm Mak, but a 127 is pushing it. It will be usable near the horizon, but the setup will tend to slip and will be shaky when pointed near zenith. A larger Alt-Az mount would be preferable.

    • Is this compatible with a dovetail?

Teddy, If you're referring to the CE-93610 Tripod, then it is compatible with a Vixen style tripod. Thanks.

    • Will a celestron 70mm work on this Mount

If your 70mm telescope (or dovetail) accepts 1/4"-20 mounting screws, this will work.

    • would this tripod work with an Astro master 130 ?

This tripod will work with the Astromaster 130. The mounting dovetail that comes with the Astromaster has tapped 1/4-20 holes, allowing attachment to this mount/tripod.
