So far I love it. No backlash! It works well with the external GPS and star sync. It would be nice if they built in a USB hub. It would also be nice if it had a built in GPS. Having the power and hand pad plug in stationary was a huge improvement. Shipping by OPT was fast.

Have not had much use of it (cgx-l) yet, but have it up and running, and the few times I have used it, are amazing to say the least. Glad I sprung for the (-L) rather than just the cgx. The tracking is excellent, so far for observing, have not hooked up either of my cameras yet. Can't find my guide camera. So relying only on Telrad ATM. Will need to update this, but so far well worth it for the EdgeHD11". Did get a motorized focus, and that thing is AWESOME, but for another review/feedback.

Theirs nothing but good things to say about this mount. Read most reviews and You Tube most owners are very pleased as I. I do own the CGEM-DX what very sturdy but my C14 with accessory is pushing it. The new mount no problem. The only thing to get use to is the polar scope if you decide you go that route. The hand control cable like all Celestron scope is a bit short you can purchase a extension cord from scope stuff. And last not one but at lease two counter weight. The reason you buy a heavy duty mount is to put a heavy load on it. Or maybe and option to get a few accessories maybe at a slight discount.
Very sturdy construction. Large, well placed knobs for easy adjustments. NexStar+ HC easy to learn with lots of navigation options.
-As of today, I have not attempted to use the Celestron CGX-L Mount. -I plan to get into the garage at the end of the month and put it all together. -Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the price and service I received from OPT. -I will update my comments once I use the mount.
Great concerned company. Fast efficient service.
