You can buy happiness!
very fun for a newbie star gazer! Clear and powerful. Feels and looks quality. Easily see thing ***** eye cannot—both stars and satellites. NB: tripod, tripod weight, and balancing is a must for stable viewing. I see why the similar model 25 x 100 has a more industrial looking brace for tripod mounting.

Love em!
The binoculars are wonderful. Can see the moon with great detail!

This was my first time purchasing anything of this sort. I did some research and decided on the Celestron Skymaster 25 x 70 binoculars. I went directly to Celestron's website, and OPT was the cheaper of two distributors listed on the manufacturer's website. The purchase was quick and easy, and the shipping was free. Everything arrived on the anticipated date despite warnings that COVID had messed up the supply chain. The $10 off coupon for subscribing my email address was a nice bonus. Definitely a great experience. The binoculars themselves were ready to go right out of the box. The images of far-away birds, trees, and airplanes were really impressive. At night, you can see the moon in great detail. On a clear night you can kind of see Mars enough to sense that it is indeed spherical, as opposed to stars which are just spots of light. A tripod is definitely next on my list because it's difficult to hold the binoculars steady enough to view anything further than that. I've only had them a week or two now, so I'm sure I'll get better. I would recommend these over anything else for a similar price if someone asked.

25x70 binocular
After receiving these binoculars I quickly put them on my tripod and found that as others had said, the support was a little shaky. The ‘wiggle’ only lasted for a few seconds. This made focusing a little difficult. So I decided to fix this problem. I filled the void in the tripod attachment with JB Clear Weld quick setting epoxy. I placed clear packing tape along the sides to prevent spill over. After I filled both sides I placed the binoculars back on my tripod and found that the ‘wiggle’ was all but gone. This really stiffened the support up. To stated that I am pleased with these binoculars would be an understatement. I am really enjoying them and feel they are well worth the price, which is very reasonable. So I highly recommend these binoculars. Thank you for a very pleasing product. Don Churchill

nice but far from superb
Sharp image. Much higher chromatic aberation than in my old (35 years) and **** Russian Kronos 20x60. Unacceptable collimation. I will return it. Purchased in Czech republic today.
Celestron Skymaster 25x70 9x63
I was pleasantly surprised that the particular pair of Skymaster 25x70 binoculars I bought from you had at least to my eyes barely detectable chromatic aberration as well as having superb resolution and contrast. I say this having had the experience a few times of viewing through some awesome binoculars such as the Takahashi 22x60 Fluorite bins, and so I have familiarity with great binocular optics. The Skymaster 9x63 binoculars I bought shortly after are equally extraordinary at their price point if not more so with their excellent resolution and phenomenal light gathering ability! Bruce Esbin
