  • Bob's Knobs for the Standard Celestron 9.25" SCT (non-CPC)

    Now there is no more tools needed to make collimation adjustments to your telescope! It's easy . . . just grab a Bob's Knob and turn. You can even collimate while looking through the eyepiece on most telescopes. What's more, you'll never drop that pesky little Allen wrench or screwdriver in the grass again. Installation is a snap with included instructions, and you can undo the modification at any time.

    Fits: All Celestron 9.25 (23.5 cm) f/10 SCT versions It is important that you choose the correct style Bob's Knobs for your telescope. Please note the number and type of screws on your secondary housing before ordering. Knobs include a set of long spacers so they clear the secondary housing lip.

    Essentials for using SCT

    I don't know why the manufacturer wouldn't do that in the first place. Required for SCT users. Thank you to OPT for accurate delivery.

    Bob’s knobs are probably a great aid, but I will want guidance in collimating my Catadioptric Celestron telescope.

    Have yet to use them although I feel certain that they will be an improvement due to the greater ease of adjusting an out of collimation lens. For me, a total novice, I will ask one of the experienced members of the Temecula Valley Astronomers, like Clark Williams, for guidance since collimating a telescope is not a trivial matter.
