Good but short eye-relief.
Good optics but the eye-position should be closer to see without central diming.

Badder eye piece
Superb eyepiece
Wow - clear and bright and sharp
I bought this eyepiece after getting a recommendation on an astronomy forum. The recommendation was to buy a Hyperion rather than a Nagler. The aspheric design reduces light loss through multiple lens elements and yields a beautiful view.
Smacks of Quality
This is a fantastic eyepiece that delivers pin point stars with great contrast across its wide field. Only at the extreme edge were there any indications of coma. I am very pleased with this purchase and at its price I do not think it can be beat. Anyone looking for a top quality wide-field 2 eyepiece this is it.
Low Power Workhorse
This eyepiece has replaced the 32mm TV Plossl that used to be my main low power eyepiece. On-axis transmission and contrast are actually a touch better than the Televue product, and the field is significantly wider even when used in the 1.25 focuser. Astigmatism is very low, field curvature is visible but minor, and angular magnification distortion is almost nil. It's a pleasure to use, easy on both the eyes and the focuser drawtube, and the price is right. For me, it's a keeper.
