Antares 12.5mm Plossl 0.965" 52-Degree Telescope Eyepiece
The Plossl eyepiece is by far the most popular ocular in use today. With its 4-element symmetrical doublet design, it has low aberrations with almost every type of instrument. With a wide 52 degrees of apparent field, the Antares Plossls provide clear, crisp images with outstanding contrast. There are many focal lengths available and each features precision optics with all four faces multicoated and edge blackened for the maximum possible contrast. Fold-down rubber eyeshields are included. If you compare the features found with Antares Plossls, you must agree that they are an outstanding value.

Eyepieces for old Telescopes
I am glad to have found these Plossl eyepieces in the .965 size as I have a nice old 60mm refractor that I have had for 50 years and these are much better than the original Huygens eyepieces that came with it. I also got some inexpensive TPO plastic cases for protection. Thanks for helping to bring some new life to my classic old scope.
0.965" Eyepieces for Ancient - 1950s era Unitron Telescope
I recently stumbled upon at 60mm Unitron refractor from our astronomy club attic sale. It's a post WWII Japanese manufactured telescope for the American market. It is beautiful piece of work - optics, GEM mount with beautiful machining and gears and teak legs and boxes for scope and mount. It's in my family room picture window. It had original eyepieces and I wanted to see what some new Plossl's would do for it. It is hard to find new 0.965 eyepieces. An adapter ruins the clean look of the scope. OPT had reasonably priced Antares 25 and 12.5 mm eyepieces and they add some clarity beyond the original equipment eyepieces. I will use OPT in the future.
Love this eyepiece. Good .965 are hard to find. Would buy more.
