Astrodon Tru-Balance LRGB filters have completely transformed CCD imaging. These filters are in high demand due to their straightforward use, and high optical throughput providing excellent colors for galaxies, star clusters and nebulae. This UV/NIR blocking 50mm Luminance filter is the same as the one included with the Astrodon I-Series or E-Series LRGB filter sets. The I-Series filters have been designed to balance Kodak Interline CCD sensor flux while the E-Series filters have been designed to do the same for Kodak full frame CCD detectors. Both include compensation for the solar photo flux.
