Are you going to NEAF? OPT is!

NEAF is the premiere astronomy show for the United States, and even though we have to travel cross-country to get there, it's worth it! If you attend NEAF, you will find over 140 vendors, workshops, a solar star party, and so much more...we highly recommend it.

 

Let Us Hand-Deliver Your Purchases!

If you are going to NEAF, you are welcome to purchase equipment ahead of time and then pick it up at the OPT booth anytime Saturday or Sunday before 2pm. Why would you do that when you can just buy it there? Because we cannot ship our entire inventory to NEAF, and if what you want is heavy, or is made to fit one particular size telescope (covers, dew shields, dew straps, Takahashi parts, etc) there is a good chance it will stay at our store in Oceanside. However, if you would like to buy your items ahead of time and have us bring them to NEAF, you will know for certain that you will walk away with what you wanted in the first place!

 

How do I place a NEAF order?

 

  • Place an order with OPT no later than Wednesday, April 10th.
  •  

  • If you order online, make sure your order is placed before midnight PDT on the 10th.
  •  

  • If you order by phone, our close of day is 6pm PDT.
  •  

  • Make sure the items you are ordering are currently in stock, either by checking our website or calling the store.
  •  

  • You will not be charged for shipping, so if you order online, go ahead and choose UPS Ground. We will adjust the amount due once we receive your order.
  •  

  • In the comments section of your online order, please write "NEAF 2013 Pick-up". If you order by phone, please re-confirm with your salesperson that you will be picking your order up at NEAF.
  •  

  • You will receive an email after the order is received by our internet sales department. In that email, we will confirm that it is paid in full and will tell you what "NEAF Deals" we applied to the order. If you want to know your discounts ahead of time, it is best to place your order by phone or call and speak with a member of the internet sales team.
  •  

  • Please pick up your order at the OPT Booth before 2pm Sunday.
  •  

  • If you do not pick up the order, we will only refund 80% of your order total so that we can pay for shipping both ways. No refunds will be given at the show. Contact the store (1-800-483-6287) to arrange for a refund.
