OPT is proud to be working with New Leaf to provide a true, worry free experience for your telescopes, mounts, cameras, eyepieces, and filters. A New Leaf Warranty, will cover normal wear and tear, power surges, and even accidental damage. Warranties from New Leaf are underwritten by an A rated insurance carrier ensuring financial protection for the entire length of your plan. With their repair or Replace Promise, they'll keep your product working like new or buy you a new one if it's not serviceable.

Warranty Options

With new products, you can get a plan that covers a span of 2, 3, or 5 Years. For the used products only plans with a duration of 1 or 2 years are available. All of the warranties come with a feature called ADH, or Accidental Damage in Handling. This will protect your gear against accidental damage like: Drops, Burns, Punctures, Tears, Liquid Spills

HOW WILL I BE GETTING MY WARRANTY?
After you purchase a warranty from OPT you will receive 2 separate emails. One will be an order confirmation from OPT. The other will be a Product Warranty email from New Leaf. There is no physical warranty that you will receive!


IF I NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM, WHO DO I CONTACT?

New Leaf has 24/7 Online Customer Support. To make a claim, you will need to talk to New Leaf directly. After you purchase a warranty, all of the information will be sent to your email right away.

IS THERE A DEDUCTIBLE?
No, there are no deductibles for making a claim.

ARE THESE PLANS TRANSFERABLE?
These extended warranties/protection plans are only valid with the original purchaser or the intended user of the equipment.

CAN I CANCEL THE WARRANTY IF I RETURN MY GEAR?
Yes. You will be given a full refund on the plan if the warrantied gear is returned within the first 30 days of ownership.

CAN I PURCHASE A WARRANTY AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED MY GEAR?
Protection plans can only be purchased at the same time as the gear that they are covering.

ARE WARRANTIES AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES?
Currently we can only offering warranties for customers who reside in the United States.
