• Pegasus Astro FocusCube Zero

  Upgrade your focusing game with the Pegasus Astro FocusCube Zero! It will help you accurately and quickly focus your Celestron SCT telescope to maximize your clear, dark sky nights and take the most breathtaking astro-images. With telescopes and cameras having faster and faster optics using new technology, the FocusCube Zero is able to keep up and provide you the optimal focus position.

  The FocusCube Zero is expertly developed with modern electronics that will provide you precise focus control right from your PC. There is also a stepper motor included, giving you the ability to achieve absolute position focusing. This stepper motor provides high speed and focus accuracy, along with ZERO BACKLASH! Simply attach the FocusCube Zero to your SCT telescope, plug in the power, USB cable, download ASCOM drivers or standalone software, and you are ready to capture amazing night sky images at perfect focus!

  Important note from the manufacturer: FocusCube Zero is a standalone device and includes controller functionality. No physical hand controller is included or required. Do NOT pair it with the Dual Motor Focus Controller or any other controller. Do NOT connect this RJ45 port to the Ultimate Powerbox RJ45 Stepper Output. The RJ45 port at the back is only for the optional hand controller or the included temperature sensor.

  Zero Backlash Stepper Motor

  The included embedded bipolar stepper motor provides you a zero backlash experience. This motor is very fast and will allow you to quickly focus your SCT from one position to another.

  SCT Bracket

  Also included with the FocusCube Zero is a specially made, black anodized aluminum bracket that can be attached to most of the Celestron SCT telescopes. This version has been successfully installed on:

  • Celestron Classic and EdgeHD 6, 8, and 9.25
  • Celestron RASA 8
  • Please note that some older SCT series are NOT compatible with the SCT bracket, so please contact Pegasus Astro with a photo of your telescope focuser if you are not certain that your telescope can accept the SCT bracket
  • The SCT bracket was designed to support Celestron SCT telescopes. However, it has fit perfectly on some Meade SCT telescopes that have the round focus knob (see image below). Please see if your Meade telescope is the same as the image below, or contact Pegasus Astro for more information

  

  Temperature Probe

  You will find an external digital temperature sensor input is located near the motor connector. A one meter (3 foot) long digital probe is included with your FocusCube Zero. This probe can be placed near the focuser so the exact temperature of the focuser and surrounding environment can be seen through either the supplied software or ASCOM driver.

  Expansion Port / Manual Focus (Optional Accessory)

  The FocusCube Zero has a built-in expansion RJ45 port at the back of the enclosure. This port is primarily for input for the temperature sensor, but an optional hand controller for manual focus control can also be plugged in here. This hand controller is NOT included in this package.
